As the 2024 Summer Olympics approach, Nike is preparing for the debut of its first-ever breakdancing shoe, the Nike Jam. Designed for the inaugural breakdancing competition, the Jam was revealed at Nike’s “Nike on Air” Olympic preview event. Developed over seven years, the shoe was fine-tuned with input from top dancers like B-girl Sunny Choi at the Nike Sports Research Lab. The retro-inspired design features a drop-in foam midsole, a curved outsole, raised patterns, and an upside-down Swoosh logo. The Olympic Games in Paris will run from July 26 to August 11.
