Oasis Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Deluxe ‘Definitely Maybe’ Reissue

image

Oasis is marking the 30th anniversary of their debut album Definitely Maybe with a deluxe edition release. This special edition includes tracks from the original discarded recording session, newly mixed outtakes by Callum Marinho and Noel Gallagher, and an unreleased demo of “Sad Song” featuring Liam Gallagher’s vocals. The new artwork, created by original designer Brian Cannon and photographer Michael Spencer, is accompanied by sleeve notes from Creation Records’ Alan McGee and journalist Hamish MacBain.

Originally released in 1994, Definitely Maybe is hailed as one of the best Britpop albums, reaching No. 1 on the UK Albums chart and achieving BPI 8-times platinum status. The deluxe edition is set to release on August 30 and is available for pre-order in Limited-Edition Deluxe 4LP, Deluxe 2CD formats, and exclusive colored vinyl.
