Despite the ongoing feud between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, which was evident as they sat separately at a Manchester City game this past weekend, the band’s official social media is now fueling more rumors.
The Instagram story featured only the Oasis logo in a short clip. Meanwhile, the grid post showed an aerial shot of a house on a lake, a boat approaching the dock, and what seemed to be rough rehearsal audio. Fans quickly reacted in the comments, with one asking, “They’re back together?!” Speculation ensued, with another fan replying, “No, it’s going to be a Definitely Maybe reissue. They are never getting back together.” This led to further discussions about the house in the video, initially thought to be the same one from the cover of their 1994 debut album, Definitely Maybe. However, fans soon realized it wasn’t the same house, as the original was located in Didsbury, Manchester.
