PANGAIA Launches “Hope Tee Series” to Promote Global Conservation

PANGAIA, “the do-gooder brand” known for its clothes that have an impact, has sustainability in mind by creating a new collection called “Hope Tee Series” with a goal to turn to positivity and “hope for global conservation and restoration efforts.”

Regarding each of these remarkable T-shirts, a milestone from the world comes to life on them through graphics and illustrations by Taylor Dasbach. One of the smartest ideas they initiated the IVF Rhino science project where the first IVF rhino pregnancy was made possible, resulting in an extremely valuable piece of news for the future of the nearly extinct northern white rhino. In the meantime, the “Back Finches” T-shirt represents the Galapagos Islands’ restoration program where 510 finches from the five species on Floreana Island were released.

Subsequently, you will discover the “New Octopus” print which glorifies nature with the introduction of four octopus species at a place near Costa Rica’s El Dorado Hill, and “Illusive Mole” which portrays the De Winton’s golden mole that was found in November 2023.

To begin with, the tops are certified organic cotton and nature-coated on Black Bio-TX™, a technology that is coming up with the use of renewable source materials instead of petrochemicals for dyeing. Surprisingly, forest waste such as FSC-certified wood is used to manufacture Nature Coating’s BioBlack TX™, but the common carbon black dyes are made from petroleum.
