James Dridi, the creative force behind PaperBoy Paris, has expanded his brand’s footprint with a new collaboration with Bangkok’s leading streetwear label, Carnival. Building on the momentum from his recent New Balance sneaker release, Dridi has channeled his passion for culinary arts into this unique partnership, blending his signature Parisian sandwiches with a distinct Thai influence.
The limited-edition menu crafted for the collaboration featured three distinctive sandwiches: a fried chicken garlic sriracha bun, a crying tiger sub, and an egg and vegetable sriracha roll. Complementing these offerings were a refreshing homemade ginger elderflower lemonade and a dessert of peanut butter cookies with ice cream. This menu was designed to honor the rich culinary traditions of Thailand while staying true to Dridi’s creative roots.
Dridi and Carnival Unveil Limited-Edition
In addition to the culinary experience, the collaboration with Carnival also introduced exclusive merchandise. The collection included two graphic tees—one in white featuring Dridi’s logo and another in black with “PaperBoy” written in Thai script. A pair of silky Muay Thai shorts, adorned with the same script, emerged as a standout piece. The collection also featured ceramic plates, mugs, a sandwich press, and a co-branded sriracha sauce. These limited-edition items were exclusively available through an in-store pop-up event that concluded on August 11.
Dridi also expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership with Carnival, highlighting the deep connection and shared values that emerged from the collaboration. “We are thrilled to have formed a bond with our new family in Thailand and look forward to creating more experiences together in the future.”
