Patta x Stussy Release ‘Respect Tee’ to Aid Community Initiatives in Suriname!

Patta and Stussy have joined forces to create the “Respect Tee,” a limited edition T-shirt paying homage to Humprey Rietfeld Schmidt, the late father of Patta’s co-founder Guillaume Schmidt.

The shirt, which features a monochrome portrait of Guillaume surrounded by his father’s cherished sayings, such as “be balanced” and “give respect to get respect,” is offered in white and black variations. The campaign, captured by photographer Yamandu Roos, aims to honor past generations while inspiring and supporting present and future ones.

Proceeds from the tee will be directed to Project Bigi Pondo, a charitable initiative focused on community upliftment and sustainable development in Suriname. Specifically, the collaboration aims to repurpose an abandoned boat into an art installation with local school children in Afobaka and assist the Saamaka Marron Museum.

The Patta x Stussy Respect Tee will be available for purchase starting June 3 on Patta’s online platform and at the brand’s retail outlets in Amsterdam, London, Milan, and Lagos.
