Paul Insect Unveils New Prints at Exclusive East London Pop-up

British contemporary artist Paul Insect, also known as PINS, is set to host a four-day pop-up event in East London, showcasing works from his extensive career. Presented in collaboration with Avant Arte, Insect will transform an unassuming shop he has frequented over the past decade, blending his eccentric artworks with the space’s inherent chaos.

In conjunction with the event, Insect and Avant Arte will release two new limited edition silkscreen prints in PINS’ signature collage style. While specific details are still under wraps, a teaser on Instagram hints at the inclusion of “one of a kind artworks and objects.”

Born in 1971 on England’s Southeastern coast, Insect first gained prominence with his vibrant collage portraits exploring the relationship between the visible and invisible. His practice has since expanded to include sculpture, such as the massive rainbow chiller character unveiled at the recent Glastonbury festival, and quirky, slightly eerie figures featured in the new pop-up.

For those in London, “This & That” will be open in Hackney on July 11 from 6pm to 9pm (GMT) and from 11am to 5pm on July 12 to 14. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience Paul Insect’s captivating art in an intimate setting.
