Pharrell Williams Debuts First ‘LVERS’ Fragrance with Louis Vuitton

image

Pharrell Williams, the visionary creative director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear, continues to push boundaries with his latest innovation: LVERS. This gender-neutral fragrance embodies the essence of sunlight and the great outdoors. Crafted in collaboration with esteemed perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud, LVERS is a masterful blend of woody notes, unconventional ingredients, and fresh accents that transport the wearer to lush gardens bathed in sunlight.

At the heart of LVERS lies galbanum, a rare gum resin from an Iranian plant, which adds a unique depth to the scent. Combined with cedar, sandalwood, ginger extract, and bergamot, the fragrance is both crisp and woody, evoking the beauty of nature. The bottle design, featuring Williams’ signature camo print and gold hardware, reflects the natural inspiration behind the scent.

Inspired by the theme of sunlight that illuminated Williams’ debut show on Pont Neuf in June 2023, Cavallier-Belletrud aimed to capture the essence of photosynthesis in scent. “It may sound abstract, but photosynthesis is the starting point for everything if you look at life,” he notes.

LVERS marks Williams’ second foray into the fragrance market, following his 2014 collaboration with COMME des GARÇONS and KAWS on “G I R L.” This new scent is a testament to Williams’ innovative spirit and his ability to blend art, fashion, and nature in a unique and captivating way.LVERS will be available worldwide online and in Louis Vuitton stores starting June 19th, priced at $320 USD. Get ready to experience the sunshine in a bottle.
