In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Playmobil is launching an Artist Project that unites ten renowned artists in support of Save the Children, the world’s leading independent children’s rights organization. The project features ten 1.5-meter white Playmobil figures transformed into unique art pieces by these artists. The artworks will be unveiled at Berlin’s Beinghunted Gallery on August 30 and will subsequently be auctioned online.
Save the Children: Playmobil’s 50th Anniversary Auction
All proceeds from the auction will benefit Save the Children Germany e.V., an organization dedicated to advocating for and protecting children’s rights globally. This initiative highlights Playmobil’s commitment to showing that toys can be more than cultural artifacts—they can be impactful art forms that contribute to improving the lives of children in need.
