Lighting brand Pooky has launched an exciting new cordless lighting collection, featuring over 20 styles of picture lights, sconces, and table lamps. The innovative USB-C rechargeable light-up cartridge means cordless bases no longer need bulky batteries. This cartridge attaches magnetically to any base or wall fitting, with a magnetic lip for the shade to sit on. Users can simply tap the bottom of the cell to switch it on and off, or use a wireless controller for more than 15 hours of run time after a five-hour charge.
Pooky’s new cordless sconces come in two sizes and nine vibrant colors. These sconces require an 8 to 10-hour charge, and the light can be toggled by tapping the top of the sconce. The collection also includes traditional table lamps and rechargeable picture lights, offering versatile lighting solutions for every home.
“These lights are perfect for all kinds of homes,” said a company spokesperson. “Older homes where adding wiring is difficult, rental homes where permanent changes aren’t possible, and for those on a budget who can’t afford electricians and replastering.”
The cordless lights are easy to install by screwing the base into the wall and attaching the light magnetically. Recharging is simple: unclip the light and use the USB-C to charge it for seven hours, providing eight hours of run time. A remote control adds to the convenience.
Founded in 2014 in the U.K. by Rohan Blacker, Pooky made its U.S. debut earlier this year at the High Point Market. The brand offers over 10,000 unique lampshade and base combinations and a wide range of lighting products, including cordless, sconces, outdoor, mirror, picture, and table lamps.
