Rema Drops Highly Anticipated Sophomore Album ’HEIS’

image

Just last week, Rema teased fans with his new single “HEHEHE” ahead of his sophomore studio album. Now, the highly anticipated project, titled ‘HEIS,’ has finally arrived.

‘HEIS’ follows Rema’s 2022 release ‘Rave & Roses,’ but this time, the Nigerian star delves deeper into his personal sound with an 11-track afrobeats project. In ‘HEIS,’ Rema unapologetically addresses critics and doubters while delivering rhythmic melodies and heavily percussive beats that make listeners want to move.

The album captivates with its exploration of afrobeats’ roots while pushing the genre forward through contemporary experimentation and sampling. Alongside the album release, Rema has been touring extensively, performing in Romania, France, Portugal, England, and more. Soon, he will bring his dynamic performance to the United States, headlining the Afro Nation Festival in Detroit, Michigan, from August 17-18.

Check out Rema’s new album ‘HEIS,’ now available on all major streaming platforms.
