In ‘HEIS,’ Rema unapologetically addresses critics and doubters while delivering rhythmic melodies and heavily percussive beats that make listeners want to move.
Exploring Afrobeats’ Roots and Contemporary Experimentation
The album captivates with its exploration of afrobeats’ roots while pushing the genre forward through contemporary experimentation and sampling. Alongside the album release, Rema has been touring extensively, performing in Romania, France, Portugal, England, and more. Soon, he will bring his dynamic performance to the United States, headlining the Afro Nation Festival in Detroit, Michigan, from August 17-18.
