The art world mourns the loss of Barbara Gladstone, a pioneering gallerist who passed away in Paris at the age of 89. Gladstone’s eponymous gallery, established in 1980, became a bastion of artistic innovation, fostering generations of talent and cementing her status as one of New York’s most esteemed dealers.

Gladstone’s journey began with a passion for art history and print collecting.
