Rihanna Goes Back to School with New FENTY x PUMA Creeper Phatty”

image

Following April’s earthy makeovers, the FENTY x PUMA Creeper Phatty is back with fresh colors just in time for the new school year. Dubbed “In Session,” this latest release showcases the model’s signature oversized construction and stacked gum sole in new “Triple Black” and “Red/White” corduroy finishes.

Rihanna, the collaboration’s longtime creative director, celebrates the occasion with a campaign inspired by school picture day. Shot by Philippa Price, the campaign features Rihanna as “the good gal,” alongside classmates Chloe Cherry as “the emo girl” and Anjelica Huston as “the principal.” The nostalgic cast also includes “theater kids,” “popular girls,” “nerds,” and “class pets.”

“Your whole school will be wearing the Creeper Phatty’s and this campaign plays with that vision,” Rihanna said. “We chose these colors and materials very purposefully for back-to-school. The black-on-black corduroy reminds me of my childhood, a uniform-approved shoe with the twist I always wished I had.”

The FENTY x PUMA “In Session” collection is now available online and in PUMA stores, with prices ranging from $65 USD to $120 USD. Like previous releases, both designs are available in sizes for all ages. Check out the range in the gallery above.
