Ryan Reynolds is gearing up for his first Taylor Swift Eras Tour experience, and he’s bringing his family along for the ride.
The 47-year-old actor revealed his plans during an interview on Today With Hoda & Jenna on Tuesday, May 14, while promoting his new movie, IF, alongside co-stars John Krasinski and Cailey Fleming.
Fleming, 17, showed her Swiftie pride by wearing one of Taylor Swift’s friendship bracelets during the interview and mentioned she would be attending Swift’s concert in October. Reynolds chimed in with enthusiasm, calling it the “best concert on planet Earth.”
“I’m about to go to the Madrid show,” Reynolds excitedly shared. “Very excited, my wife and kids have been to five of them, five or six now.” He went on to explain that his wife, Blake Lively, who is close friends with Swift, and their four kids are obsessed with Swift’s concerts.
Krasinski added that his daughters, Hazel, 10, and Violet, 7, also wanted to see Taylor Swift and had been urging him and his wife, Emily Blunt, to get tickets. The Krasinski-Blunt family plans to attend the Eras Tour in August.
“My daughters were like, ‘Your movie’s good, but when are we going to Taylor?’” Krasinski jokes.
Reynolds expressed his excitement for the upcoming tour, sharing that it’s been a long time coming due to his busy work schedule. “This last year and a half I’ve been trapped in a nonstop work bubble, and it’s a problem,” he admitted. “I’m getting help, I got help. Intervention is the word they’re using.”
The Reynolds-Lively family has a close friendship with Taylor Swift, and they have been seen publicly supporting her on multiple occasions. In October 2023, they attended a Kansas City Chiefs game together, among other outings. Swift also gifted Reynolds and Lively’s kids with a special treat in 2020: her album Folklore.
Ryan Reynolds and his family are set to join Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Madrid later this month, marking a highly anticipated event for the actor and his Swiftie clan.
