‘Sari Sari,’ meaning “variety” in Tagalog, pays homage to the eclectic bodegas found in the Philippines, where daily essentials and treasures coexist. Javier’s artistic style blends graphic lettering, characters, and iconography inspired by his Southern California upbringing and Filipino heritage. The exhibition is a kaleidoscope of color and energy, with standouts like the multi-media installation ‘Sari Sari’ and the acrylic-painted sculpture ‘People Studies No. 1 (2024).’
