Saweetie Unveils Empowering Anthem “My Best”

image

Following the release of her summer anthem “NANi” in May, Saweetie is back to close out the season with a new single, “My Best.” This track exudes confidence and self-assuredness, marking a powerful return for the artist.

In “My Best,” Saweetie delivers assertive lyrics such as:

“Ride fast, sip slow / Forty-inch weave, that wind blow / My body got me on my tiptoes / You dusty h*** need a lint roll / I be minding my business / But still be the topic of your conversation.” The chorus reinforces the song’s message with the line: “You don’t deserve my best.”

The release of this track is accompanied by a music video directed by WaterWippinEvan in collaboration with Saweetie. The visual narrative explores the artist’s personal journey and growth, set against the backdrop of her former high school in Elk Grove, California. The video juxtaposes Saweetie’s current persona with nostalgic glimpses of her childhood, reflecting both her evolution and enduring connection to her roots.

With “My Best,” Saweetie continues to assert her place in the music industry, offering fans a blend of unapologetic empowerment and personal reflection. The track and its accompanying visual are available for streaming now, showcasing Saweetie’s ability to merge personal history with contemporary flair.
