Innovation design studio Takram, in collaboration with Hitachi, has developed a stunning interactive web experience that offers practical optimism in the face of the climate crisis.
The challenge of avoiding climate catastrophe and environmental destruction can often seem overwhelmingly complex. Governments, organizations, and individuals alike recognize the urgent need for change, but many are unsure where to begin. In 2020, Hitachi’s R&D division initiated a year-long research project and partnered with the global innovation studio Takram to craft a clear roadmap toward a sustainable future.
Unveiled at Hitachi’s COP26 exhibition in Glasgow, where Hitachi participated as a Principal Partner, the result of this collaboration is ThreeTransitions.earth. This intuitive, informative, and inspiring interactive web experience, designed by Takram, provides a structured framework for understanding global crises and serves as a starting point for radical action.
The platform is a beacon of hope, demonstrating that while the task is daunting, there are practical steps that can be taken to make a significant impact. By offering a clear and engaging roadmap, Takram and Hitachi aim to empower users to contribute to a sustainable future.
