Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker has teamed up with Parisian fashion brand A.P.C. to create a new capsule collection titled “Interaction #25: Tame Impala.” This collection blends “psychedelic minimalism” with A.P.C.’s signature minimalist style.
Drawing inspiration from 1970s Australian communes and Parker’s meditation practice, the unisex collection features sustainably sourced materials in muted pastel tones. The lineup includes alpaca sweaters, corduroy trousers, and accessories like bucket hats and a shoulder bag. Designed to complement Tame Impala’s musical aesthetic, the pieces feature song lyrics and psychedelic-inspired designs.
A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou expressed admiration for Tame Impala’s music, describing it as a blend of his favorite sounds since the 1960s. This collaboration is part of A.P.C.’s ongoing series, which has previously included partnerships with brands like Lacoste and Sacai, as well as icons like Catherine Deneuve and Kid Cudi.
The collection launches on July 18 at 12 p.m. GMT, available online and in stores, with sizes ranging from XXS to XXL.
