The fighting game community enthusiastically welcomed Tekken 8 earlier this year, with the game selling over two million copies in its first month, surpassing its predecessor. Now, the beloved franchise has sparked a new type of excitement as Nike reveals a Tekken 8-themed Air Foamposite One.
This silhouette has already garnered attention this year with its upcoming COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS project and the anticipated return of the “Galaxy” look in 2025, signaling Nike’s intent to bring this design back into the spotlight.
The Tekken 8 Air Foamposite One features an iridescent shell with a thematic print, complemented by black leather eyestays, laces, and tongue. Special Tekken motifs adorn the tongue and sockliner branding, while a red “FIST” graphic enhances the icy translucent outsole. Additionally, the shoes come in a special box featuring the game’s cover art of Kazuya Mishima and Jin Kazama.
Nike has not yet confirmed the release date for the Tekken 8-themed Air Foamposite One. Stay tuned for updates, as the release is expected this September via Nike SNKRS and select retailers, with a starting price of $250 USD.
