The Weeknd has etched his name in music history, becoming the first Canadian artist to achieve an unprecedented seven diamond-certified singles! The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has awarded diamond certifications to his hits “Save Your Tears” and “Die For You,” signifying a staggering 10 million equivalent units sold for each.

This remarkable feat makes him the fourth artist overall to reach this milestone, joining an elite group that includes Rihanna and Post Malone. Post Malone currently holds the record with nine diamond-certified tracks.

But that’s not all – The Weeknd’s collaboration with Madonna and Playboi Carti, “Popular,” has been certified platinum by the RIAA, recognizing 1 million units in the U.S. This accomplishment adds to Madonna’s illustrious career, solidifying her status as one of the few artists with Hot 100-charting hits in five distinct decades.

The Weeknd’s “One of the Girls,” featuring BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Lily-Rose Depp, has also received platinum certification, marking Jennie as the first female K-pop solo artist to earn an RIAA platinum single and Depp’s first platinum achievement.

With these latest accolades, The Weeknd cements his position as a music industry powerhouse, pushing the boundaries of artistic excellence and commercial success. His diamond dynasty is a testament to his innovative spirit, creative genius, and dedication to his craft.

Stay tuned for more updates on The Weeknd’s remarkable journey, as he continues to shape the music landscape and inspire a new generation of artists!
