Italian design company Vero has introduced its fifth collection of furniture, showcasing new pieces by designers Hannes & Fritz, Jamie Wolfond, and Thomas Woltmann.
Among the new offerings, the Swiss-German duo Hannes & Fritz has unveiled Vero’s first outdoor collection, aptly named “Hongkong.” Inspired by the stainless steel front door gates commonly seen in Hong Kong’s old residential buildings, the series includes a chair, a stool, a bench, and two tables. This collection blends avant-garde boldness with simplistic lines, creating a unique and stylish look for outdoor spaces.
For indoor furniture, the collection features a minimalistic yet puzzle-like bookshelf system by Canadian designer Jamie Wolfond. Titled “Woven,” the bookshelf was inspired by a serendipitous mistake when Wolfond accidentally cut a joinery piece upside down. “We discovered that by alternating the orientation of each connection in a wooden grid, we could make an object that was equal parts puzzle and shelf. The shelf’s opposing joinery creates the graphic impression of a plain weave, the ancient system from which it borrows its structure,” says Wolfond.
The collection also includes the “Wave” Collection by Copenhagen-based designer Thomas Woltmann. This collection consists of a stool and a bench made from solid ash wood, offering a fresh take on geometric lines with wave-like profiles and curves.
All these innovative pieces are now available through Vero’s official website. Explore the new collection and find the perfect addition to your home or outdoor space.
