Vivienne Westwood is gearing up for the upcoming cooler seasons with its new Fall/Winter 2024/25 campaign. Known for blending glamour with punk, the label draws inspiration from London subcultures and global styles through an artistic lens. This season, the focus is on elements of faded glamour. 

Photographed by Juergen Teller and directed by Vivienne Westwood’s creative director Andreas Kronthaler, the campaign was shot in Margate, a picturesque town on England’s southeast coast. The collection showcases Westwood’s signature fusion of elegance and edge. Highlights include a classic black wool dress coat, Lochcarron of Scotland tartan pieces set against a stark concrete backdrop, and a striking gold dress paired with sky-high boots and a motorcycle. 

Kronthaler shared his inspiration, saying, “Margate seemed the most quintessential English seaside place. I always wanted to do a campaign shoot there. It’s picturesque with a certain light perfect for photographs.” The shoot locations included Margate caves, Dreamland’s parking lot, and the Nayland Rock hotel.
