BTS’ Jimin Teams Up with Loco for the Infectious ‘Smeraldo Garden Marching Band’

In a highly anticipated move, Jimin, a member of the global phenomenon BTS, has released his latest single, “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band,” featuring Loco. This pre-release track serves as a tantalizing glimpse into his upcoming second solo album, MUSE, slated for release on July 19.

Inspired by the iconic Beatles album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” is a groundbreaking fusion of hip-hop beats and lively marching band sounds, as reported by Billboard. Jimin collaborated with a powerhouse team of producers, including Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, EVAN, and Tommy Brown, who have worked with artists like Ariana Grande and The Weeknd.

The song’s title references the fictional flower “Smeraldo,” symbolizing “the truth untold.” The lyrics explore themes of longing and unspoken love, connecting to the “Smeraldo” legend previously mentioned in BTS’ “The Truth Untold” featuring Steve Aoki.

The accompanying music video, available on HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel, is a nostalgic, vintage-inspired masterpiece. It features Jimin as the lead vocalist, accompanied by producers Pdogg, GHSTLOOP, and EVAN as the band’s musicians, with a special appearance by Loco. The video showcases Jimin’s smooth dance moves and versatile voice, set against a serene landscape with cinematic opening credits and a faded, grainy texture.

MUSE, Jimin’s upcoming album, promises to be a thematic exploration of love, with interconnected tracks like “Rebirth,” “Interlude: Showtime,” and “Slow Dance” featuring Sofia Carson. Jimin has already made history as the first South Korean solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 with his debut solo album, FACE.

“Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” featuring Loco is now available, with MUSE set to drop on July 19.
