Urban Outfitters launched the campaign on July 10 with a two-day event called “Space Shift” at The Chelsea Factory in New York. The event featured 10 multifunctional spaces inspired by Pinterest trends, showcasing how Gen Z can create their personal sanctuaries. “Every year, college-bound students turn to Pinterest to find inspiration for the school year ahead,” said Sara Pollack, global head of consumer marketing at Pinterest. “This year, we’re partnering with Urban Outfitters to bring these ideas to life.”
Influencers Highlight Urban Outfitters Products at Space Shift
Urban Outfitters collaborated with Pinterest influencers to highlight their aesthetics using UO products, from furniture and rugs to bedding and lighting. Attendees of the Space Shift event could view and shop these curated spaces, with the influencer picks also featured on the UO website. Additionally, Urban Outfitters and Pinterest are offering five lucky winners $5,000 in UO products to bring their Pinterest board to life.
