In a move that is sure to send shockwaves through the hip-hop world, Megan Thee Stallion appears to have taken direct aim at Nicki Minaj in her latest album, ‘Megan’, released on Friday. The track ‘Rattle’ contains a verse that seems to be explicitly targeted at Minaj, with Megan delivering a series of scathing lines that leave little doubt about the intended recipient. 

The verse in question sees Megan rapping, “See you doin’ good, wanna fk up your energy… Rich bitches better watch they back… ‘Cause they’ll fk ’round, be laid up with your enemy.” She continues, “Damn, bch, it been four years… Worry ’bout your man and your kid… Your life must be borin’ as fk if you still reminiscin’ ’bout sh*t that we did.” 

The lyrics are a clear reference to the long-standing feud between the two rappers, which has been simmering since 2021. The tension between Megan and Nicki first came to a head when Minaj appeared to diss Megan on the track “Seeing Green”, accusing her of encouraging her to drink while pregnant, a claim that Megan vehemently denied. 

The beef escalated earlier this year, with Megan releasing the chart-topping single “Hiss”, which contained clear shots at Nicki. Minaj responded with “Big Foot”, and it seems that Megan has now upped the ante with her latest release. 

The ongoing feud between the two rappers has captivated the attention of the music world, with each new release adding fuel to the fire.
