image

Renowned Los Angeles-based artist Steven Harrington is celebrating his inaugural museum solo exhibition, Stay Mello, at the Amorepacific Museum of Art in Seoul, releasing four limited-edition art toys featuring his beloved alter ego, Mello the dog. This milestone exhibition, on view until July 14, 2024, showcases Harrington’s extensive career, from his early days as a streetwear collaborator to his current standing in the fine art world.

Titled Subconscious, each of the four Mello figures comes with a removable painting toy, inspired by life-sized sculptures featured in the museum retrospective. This unique art toy release commemorates Harrington’s solo exhibition and offers collectors a tangible piece of his artistic journey.

The art toys will be available for purchase in Seoul on June 6 at 1 pm at the Amorepacific Museum of Art, located at 100 Hangang-daero, Yongsan District, Seoul, South Korea. Don’t miss this opportunity to own a piece of Harrington’s Mello Mania and experience his comprehensive exhibition, Stay Mello.

Harrington’s work has come full circle, from streetwear to fine art, and this museum solo exhibition is a testament to his dedication and passion. As he noted, “Many artists are never given a chance to see their work in a museum like this within their lifetime, so it’s a tremendous honor.” Join the celebration of Harrington’s artistic evolution and get ready to embrace the Mello Mania!
